Dog-friendly walking routes are always welcome

Dog-friendly walking routes are always welcome

For walking fans who are dog owners finding good walking routes can sometimes be a bit tricky.

So this recent website discovery by Frances Whitehead at Northumberland National Park is a real gem.

Called www.dogwalks.co.uk, it focuses on North East walks. A drop-down menu lets you pick your area or walk, and most walks have a link to a map of the walk.

There is plenty of choice for walkers and their dogs. Enjoy – and if you go on any of the walks, let us have your photos too!
