Dorothy Hardy, a very long-serving voluntary ranger at Northumberland National Park, has received an MBE for a lifetime’s service to conservation. She and her husband Trevor joined the Northumberland National Park Voluntary Ranger Service in the Spring of 1960 and together have given outstanding service both to the National Park and the UK for more than 50.
