Northumberland Wildlife Trust is set to begin tree planting activity with estate officers and volunteers aiming to plant an amazing 5,000 trees and 250m of hedgerow across the region. The work will be completed before the end of February. The trust will also be involved in the felling of trees to make way for new trees. Locations for planting include Whitelee Moor, near Carter Bar.
