An English Heritage staff member has created a series of illustrations for Housesteads Roman Ford. They will be featured throughout the site when it re-opens this spring. Sue Hodnett who is the manager at Housesteads has created the illustrations for Housesteads. Sue is an accomplished artist and has a degree in Fine Art. English Heritage asked her to create the illustrations for the fort.

The view on a new poster for the eagerly anticipated film The Hobbit shows a stunning scene in Northumberland – a view from Corby Crags looking towards Edlingham Castle.
