She is a trustee of the Newcastle University staff pension plan, and a member of the International Advisory Board for Newcastle University Business School. A review is taking place to improve the management and marketing of Northumberland’s tourism industry. The idea is to find out how it can be best be delivered in coming years. The review is being let by Northumberland County Council and key tourism partners.
Thisisnorthumberland.com occupied part of Hexham Farmers’ Market for a bit of self-promotion this weekend. Visitors and stallholders at the twice-monthly farmers’ market were able to see the website on a giant plasma TV screen mounted to the back of a nippy Smart car.
