One of the most beautiful and atmospheric places in Northumberland is Lordenshaws Hill Fort, near Rothbury. It was once a busy Iron Age community, but now is an historic site in Coquetdale. This feature explores the beauty of Lordenshaws and the surrounding countryside which stands above the River Coquet near the hills of the Cheviots.
