A new walking guide to three long-distance trails in Northumberland is now available.
One of the latest releases from Cicerone Press, publishers of nearly 300 outdoor guidebooks, is ‘St Oswald’s Way and St Cuthbert’s Way’, by Rudolf Abraham. The book guides you along these two trails, and as the St Oswald’s Way also follows a large part of the Northumberland Coastal Path, and an added stage provided means you can walk the Coastal Path in its entirety with this guidebook too.
Each trail passes through the Northumberland National Park and the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding National Beauty, converging on Holy Island. The routes take approximately one week to complete, and are broken down here into easy stages. Also included is information on local wildlife, history and public transport links.
The pocket-sized guidebook is yours for £12.95, and has free UK postage when ordered directly from the publisher. For further information, or to order, please visit www.cicerone.co.uk/product/detail.cfm/book/669/title/st-oswald-s-way-and-st-cuthbert-s-way.
