Red squirrel revolution at Kielder!

Kielder Water and Forest Park has long been known as a great place to sport red squirrels, along with Northumbria wildlife

But this week has been exceptional, with loads of red squirrels visible jumping between trees, feeding, and enjoying exploring the forest.

Rangers at Kielder Castle have gone as far as reporting a red revolution in Kielder Water & Forest Park!. This week has been amazing, with loads of red squirrels being spotted on the CCTV link from a remote feeding station.

The rangers have reported seeing up to eight red squirrels at a time throughout the day!
