Playing Postcode Lottery will help NWT

Northumberland Wildlife Trust Chief Executive Mike Pratt is urging members of the public to enter the People’s Postcode Lottery Spring Postcode Millions draw.

In April, players in one lucky postcode sector will enjoy a share of £2 million with the charity lottery’s Spring Postcode Millions draw.

To date, players have raised over £17.1 million which has provided valuable funding for a number of charities across Great Britain.

One such charity receiving major funding from players is Northumberland Wildlife Trust, the largest environmental charity in the Region.

From dormice and otter surveys, restoring ancient peat bogs in North Northumberland to buying wellies for school children in Ashington, the Trust s indebted to the players of the People’s Postcode Lottery.

Mike Pratt, Chief Executive said: “Times are tough for charities so we consider ourselves unbelievably lucky to be receiving funding from the People’s Postcode Lottery it makes my job a heck of a lot easier, so come on everybody get playing and spare me any grey hairs.”
