Northumberland Wildlife Trust shared this photo with us to highlight the amazing and surprising contrast in the weather in the north of the British Isles this week.
Only a few days ago NWT staff were baking in the hot sun and wearing t-shirts as they worked on a tree planting project on Whitelee Moor, near Byrness, Otterburn, Northumberland.
Today, with the change in weather, they were facing almost blizzard-like conditions and were wrapped up in parkas as the wind swept down across the moors and brought freezing rain and then snow with it.
The forecast for tomorrow is a bit brighter, but not much warmer. Temperatures may rise by Thursday but the rain is expected to return again on Good Friday.
