A Royal weekend of family fun is set for Golden Sands Holiday Park, which is staging its own Jubilee Pageant featuring a llama called Elizabeth who can jump her own height.
The Black Rock Llama Agility Racing Team is set to be the star of the seaside park at Cresswell, Northumberland’s special Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
And as well as Elizabeth’s highjumping feats, she will be joined by her partner Phillip and fellow camelids Camilla and Charles to pit their wits against each other in a regal relay race event.
See Elizabeth, Philip, Charles and Camilla the llamas in action at Golden Sands Holiday Park on Sunday June 3 where they will give displays at 1pm and 3pm.
Golden Sands owner, Nigel Thompson, who lives at the park with his family, said: “We have a packed programme to celebrate the Jubilee, and everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the celebrations with us.
“The Black Rock Llamas are travelling from Wales to take part in the fun – it’s going to be a brilliant, fun event with a regal twist.
“Elizabeth leaping her height will be amazing to watch – just like the showjumpers jumping over the famous big red wall in the Pussancecompetition at the Horse of the Year Show!”
As well as the llama team’s performances on Sunday, the park is inviting people to come along to their street party from 12 noon on Tuesday June 5 where there will also be plenty of family fun with space hopper racing, hot tubs, face painting and more.
