Alnmouth Beer FestivalBeer lovers are invited to the Northumberland coast next weekend for the second annual Alnmouth Beer Festival.

Running from October 7-9, it will take place at the Red Lion Inn, Alnmouth, and will feature carefully selected ranges of real ales, produced by some of the North East’s favourite brewers, most of which have appeared at pub in the past couple of years.

More than 30 beers and ciders will be on offer, including products from the Wylam, Allendale, and Hadrian & Border breweries in Northumberland, and the Cooper Dragon and High House Farm Breweries in Yorkshire. Beers from as far away as Orkney and Cornwall will also be on offer.

Entry is £5, and this includes a souvenir glass and two drinks. The festival is raising money for the Moorlands Eye Hospital, London.
