Magical and nationally acclaimed Alnwick Garden will remain open during during this coming winter season.

The Alnwick Garden, one of the UK’s best known tourist attractions, closed last winter. It recently announced that closing for the winter season was a mistake.

The Duchess of Northumberland, who created the attraction, said The Alnwick Garden won’t repeat the controversial closure this coming year. It will, however, be closed for a month early next year for maintenance.

The Alnwick Garden will be open from November to January 8, 2012, from 10am until 3pm. It will be closed on Christmas Day. Find out more at www.alnwickgarden.com.

The town of Alnwick has reacted positively to the news, saying it will help increase trade day visits.
