Involved in tourism? Then plan to attend the next Coast and Country event, which is supported by Northumberland National Park and the Coast AONB.

Set for February 23, it is entitled A Coastal Odyssey and will include  a tour of a National Trust reserve with the warden, a visit to The Ship Inn at Low Newton for lunch and to hear about the micro brewery developed by Christine Forsyth, and a talk by Mike Hardy, Chief Executive of Northumberland Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority.

The event begins at 10am at the Low Newton Car Park.

Coast and Country is a series of one-day events organised by Lesley Silvera.

The days help individuals learn more about what is on offer for tourists or people from the region. Attendees can learn about the landscape, geography and history, and also network and meet others who work in the tourism industry, or rely on visitors as part of their business.

To find out more contact Lesley Silvera on 07933 326711.
