The lodges are a family-run business and lie within the small village of West Woodburn in Northumberland.

The lakeside lodges have two bedrooms each, and sleep up to four people. They each include; en suite bedrooms with your own balcony, utility room, sauna, kitchen, living area, dining area, pool table, hot tub, BBQ area and your very own private fishing deck onto the lake.

Ingram lodge has three bedrooms and can sleep six people.  This lodge is equipped with all of the above, but has a separate games room with pool table, sauna, wet room and another living area. This lodge also has a separate Scandinavian BBQ hut, which is available for hire for residents.

Whilst many may wish to relax and enjoy this restful retreat, there are many other activities available in the area.

Residents staying at the lodges are free to fish the two-acre lake and also have access to 2 miles of single bank fishing of the River Rede. The lake is stocked with brown trout and is fly only. The River Rede is a tributary of the North Tyne, England’s premium Salmon River and has good runs of salmon and sea trout as well as wiley wild brown trout.

West Woodburn is part of England’s most tranquil and inspiring Northumberland National Park. It is also in close proximity to Kielder Water and Forest Park and also lies near to Hadrian’s Wall. There are many beautiful walks in the area whether it be for a casual stroll among the rolling countryside or for the more adventurous hikers.

There are also many cycle routes available in and around the area. Kielder Water offers an exclusively built bike track extending 26 miles around its reservoir. Bike hire is also available in the surrounding area.

The village of Bellingham lies 4 miles from your lodge, with more pubs, restaurants and takeaway facilities. It also has an 18-hole golf course available to non-members, shops and other lovely walks.
